Ambitions for 2016
To get to as many new race circuits as we can , to have a big sort out in my garage cum tip ,
to spend more time with bum on seat riding the under riden bikes
And to top that off by making the boss and I's 50th year together as special as I can , after putting up with me all these years she deserves it

Re: Ambitions for 2016
Wow! 50! That's a bit of a milestone. Congratulations to the two of youzz!
I'm sitting here, not listening to New Year's blabber on the toob. It's a milestone year for me too. The government issued me the first cheque this month for being old. Not un-expected, but still a surprise. Didn't think I would see the day for some reason. Now that I am officially old, I can do more silly things, so that is my plan.
Garage is in pretty good shape, so I'm abandoning that and will do more roaming on two wheels this year.
One car trip is in rough plan, and that will suck up two weeks, but I have more in the bank.
Just bought a new camera ("It's the LAST one I'll ever need!" At least that was the excuse I gave when the bill was discovered by SWMBO.).
I'm a little distressed to find out the camera is a condescending sombitch and keeps telling me how much smarter it is than I am.
Hope this isn't a sign of the times!
Happy New Years to all!

Re: Ambitions for 2016
Things have been so crazy the last couple of years, my ambition is just a "normal" year this year. My goal for the holidays is completely finishing the house (all pictures on the walls, all boxes unpacked, etc.), and I have accomplished that. So back to fiddling with bikes and whatnot!

Yes I can understand that , just sat here hearing your tales of what you have had to endure , would wear me out , but with the events that have gone on round us with all the flooding over the last month brings it all closer to home , where we are situated on relevantly high ground we are lucky but when you look at what is happening around the world , bush fires in Oz fires in Dubai multistorey buildings the Paris thing , and the list goes on and on , it doesn't make for good reading , and to me says grab out of life what you can as you can , none of us has any idea what a waits us round the next corner , I have lived that way ever since my bypass op and fully intend to carry on that way as long as I can
