These are 2017's, which have moved the can from high to low as well as the new LED headlights. I could have gotten either, but personally prefer the simplicity of the low can for passengers, heat, luggage, etc.

Re: Christmas Presents
I had not seen the ones with low can , must admit I like them low but would prefer a much smaller can there is no nead for them to be that big , its only fashon when it comes to it , but would think they will be great fun , I love the little bikes as much as the big ones if not more

Just the thing(s) to throw in the back of the Winnebago! All the pictures I've seen of them (in Canada they are called 'Groms'(?)) have the tires all worn down to the edges. I assume you will be treating yours accordingly!

Yep, they are Groms here as well. I'm trying to get the wife up to speed before I ride mine much, so no supermotard style stuff yet for me.
There is a great community out there for them. The upgrades available for them are staggering. You could literally spend as much as my Ducati on one of these (in parts!) if you went full boat on all the stuff available.
Ohlins shocks/forks, brembo brakes and master cylinders, complete double overhead cam, 4 valve engines (upgrading the size to 180 or 250 cc), hi performance ECU, carbon fiber wheels and bodywork, adjustable rearset pegs. All look straight off of a world superbike... Amazing!
Not going there, but had to order one part for the wife's bike though. Adjustable levers. The stock ones are a bit of a reach for my mitts, let alone my wife's smaller hands.

Re: Christmas Presents
The small bikes these days I think are such fun , having said that it looks as if I may be going to part with my little stinker , after the last few weeks of being un well we are thinking of down sizing to a smaller pad that will not have the room for so many toys (Old age is catching up on us at a fair old lick )need to slow down and spend a bit more time on the porch in the rocking chair , ( not if I can help it , but has been sugested)

Just pretend that it is your version of a mobility scooter. Of course, riding it around the isles of the shops might cause a bit of commotion!

Un-well? Anything dastardly, or just advancing decrepitude like I've got? Found myself all out of puff digging through the snow yesterday, so went back in and got out the 15 horses attached to the snow-blower. That seems to be less stress following it around in circles than manning the snow shovel. Never used to bother me when I first got a blower... 25 years ago... Ohhhh...

Had a bout of bacterial pneumonia , and pulled a muscle in my shoulder , am getting over the pneumonia slowly but just feel tierd all the time , but has just brought it home that I am not imortal after all and need to look to the future and do things while we can , dont want to be morbid but if I was to pop me clogs firstAnnewould be left with things to do that she couldnt do and make it hard for her , as much as we love wherewe live now it would not be prsctical for just one of us so we both feel it is time to change
