Glad yesterday is over the boss had a fall I was sat in my chair minding my own buisness when she came flying past going for a flying head but of the fireplace ending up being taken to the hospital A&E department for exrays , finding a break in her Humerus so its arm in a sling back to fracture clinic on the 27th and see how it goes from there , so it is out with the marigold gloves and the vacume cleaner for me , good bit I am allowed out of the dog house to be a dogs body ,

I had a similar event a few years ago when SWMBO slipped on the floor of the shop and broke her ankle. I was nowhere near at the time, and she had to crawl back to the house and wait for rescue. It did prompt me to put in a nice new insulated and and painted floor (with a non-slip entry mat at the door) very soon thereafter. Silver lining and all that...

Hope the boss heals well and you are not relegated to maid services for too long!

She has a hellish list of problems, including a totally potty husband. How she still manages to be such a good natured, lovely lady, I shall never know. Bloomin’ saint, is all I can say. Hope tomorrow goes well. xx

Sorry to hear about the injury Sad (I replied earlier and it apparently got lost somewhere). My Mom has been through a lot in that regard, so I know how bad it can be...

No probs Smily
The visit to the feacture clinic went well they did more exrays and iit looks as if all the bits of bone are in line and good to heal in the position they are in so now just down to pain relief and time , she has to go back in three weeks with the view in to then going to physio to try and get the movement going again , I think the reasurence that it is looking as good as it could be has reasured her and put her mind at rest a bit ,

Good to hear the positive news. I was put on strong painkillers a couple of weeks ago as it’s likely that I have trochanteric bursitis (just showing off because I can spell it). They worked a treat but made me violently sick, looks like a return visit to the doctor’s after Christmas, am too busy until then.

Well the boss has been to fracture clinic and had it exrayed again and the report is that it is heading in the right direction and looks to be healing well just a matter. Of getting it moving again which is happening bit by bit very slow but progress never the less thank goodness , but just highlights how fradgile we all are. So take care out there peeps ,
Other good news the Bugilow Mk11 has been passed fit for another twelve months so plans can be made , first trip is to Anglesy end of Jan then a week later up to Ayr to one of our sons for a long weekend then the silly women wants to go as far Sarth as she can get seeing as this year she went as far North as she could go without getting her feet wet , then there will have to be a trip to the rock for the Southern 100 in July and no doubt a Scarborough , mind am getting a bit out of love with Scarborough will be dropping most of them if they dont pull their socks up with their organising skills , on the wish list is a couple of BSB meetings and at least one VMCC race meeting , and then what ever we can fit in , dont ask where that Kate is going she makes me look like a dirty stop at home ,

Holey Mackerel! Youzz gots plans all done for NEXT year? We can't make up our minds for next WEEK!
Good to hear there is progress on the bone knitting front. Only good thing is that there is time to recover during the 'off' season.
Only plans I have in the short term are fixing the pig. I already need a tool I don't have, so progress may be slow. Good thing it is also 'off-season' here as well!

Is a clutch puller what you need, or something else? I don't have a place to work right now (Since September really).

I'll probably have a backlog once everything opens back up. Starting to run out of money now, so hopefully will get everything done soon.

The old track bike had a seized brake when I moved it over. Need to get that bike and the scooter back in working order so I can sell them off.

Had to do a driveway oil change on the truck, just like the old days!

Glad to hear your wife is mending correctly... Need to be in shape for all those trips!

Yup. Need the puller and a weird bent wrench to block the crank bolt. EagleMike is sending me one so that I can continue the surgery. My garage is as fixed up as it is gonna get, so I can concentrate on other projects. There is a temptation to get the hydroplane afloat this year. Or maybe build a birdhouse...
I'll try to stay away from busting bones like Mrs.Eddie because I don't think my chauffeur would be as understanding!
