A few photos taken in towns and vilages while out on this afternoons ride Masham the home of the Black Sheep brewery them Middleham a small town known for its race horse stables then past the forbiden corner a novelty garden over the moors to Kettlewell and down past Kilnsey crag well known for the over hanging cliff face a big attraction for rock climbers then on down to the market town of Grassington then onward to Patley Bridge the home of one of Yorkshires finest Pork pie shops (sadly cloed today ) then through Felbeck past one of my old drinking houses the Half Moon then the last few miles of great biking road back to Ripon and boy did it feel good to be out on the old bike again , at this time of year for a few now I start thinking the bike isnt getting used as it should I should sell her on to some one who would use her more but then I set off for a ride and get to the out skirts of town and the thought of letting her go is out the window AGAIN so looks like no new camera this year, oh well cant have every thing, but todays smile will last a week at least

As I said in the comments on the pictures... Nice ride. A little different temperature around here even though it looked a little 'cloudy' on your end. Just got in from a little trip to visit the kids over the weekend... (1200 km - Now I know why I bought a great Jayzzos comfortable van ) and we beat the snowstorm home by mere minutes. Unloaded in a mini blizzard. **sigh**

We’re hoping to get out in one of the ‘proper’ bikes this year, after three years on the *cough* scooter (always away in the motorhome & the big bikes are too heavy to go in the back).

Hmmm... I responded to this once, but it vanished. Anyhow...

Well, in spite of your no doubt less-nice weather, you've managed to beat me out of the blocks this year. Hopefully I can get out this weekend.

Looks like a nice time, complete with pub.

Out at the big Mecum auction this past weekend, got to see lots of cool cars and even a couple of bikes (they were used to advertise the big bike auction which takes place in a couple of weeks in Las Vegas)
