scarborough done

Well that's Scarborough done and dusted a bit of a busy weekend that turned out to be couple of fallers and a Lady in the spectator section went over on her ankle and had to be taken to med center in the abilance and it was from very uneven ground not easy and yours truly was doing the IO job so was at the sharp end the guy that used to do the IO job has decided he has had enough and is standing down , so it was thrown on to my plate but then we had a couple of days in the area chilling out before coming home so all in all jobs a goodn , now its out with the tool box Bugilow to MOT little DT to MOT

Thanks for all the work you do to keep these events going!

We tend to focus on our jealousy (well on my part anyhow) of you "getting to go" to all these great events, but in reality, you are doing an important job that can be difficult at the best of times.

But, that huge paycheck makes up for it, eh?  

Oh now come on Smily dont you go having a funny turn on us lol

Smilo is right. I get pangs of jealousy too, never ever think about all the volunteers that make it happen. You guys are the salt of the earth.

Dont know about the salt thing Beesa mate the way I look at it we are all one big family and we all need each other no spectators no racing no sponsors no racing no riders no racing no marshals no racing no officials no racing we all need each other take any one element away and we all fall flat on our faces , so just do what you can when you can ,for years I had not got the money or the time to do more than a couple of meetings a year as a spectator now I have the time and I do as many as the money will stretch to and I am lucky I have a good woman that comes with me and likes the bikes so no hassle , when you get to my age you just grab what you can , 2 and a half years ago now I had a heart by pass and when I was laid on that table the guy putting that needle in said you do know that 4% dont make it dont you so once more I was lucky but by it dont half make you think and it makes you grab what you can with both hands and wring the life it , when my luck does run out I wont have missed much not if I can help it , what is it they say live life to the full ?? well I am giving it a bloody good go believe me
