Mands & sidecars

Has anyone else spotted that our Mands from the old board has applied for her ACU licence? She’s taking up racing, as a sidecar passenger. I always knew she was crazy ...

I am sorry but I dont remember Mands good luck to her , I have been very lucky over the years to have riden many different bikes but have never had a go on a sidecar but on thing for sure if I ever did I would have to be on the bars , the nearest I got was to try this one out for size

Mands (real name Amanda Mason) was on FS way back in the early 2000s, started going to the TT with a then boyfriend but later got rid of the boyfriend & took her bike test. She went to both the TT & MGP, used to marshal but I can’t remember where.

Am I oh well I dont remember signing up for it , was it a buy one get one free offer ?? Join up for thd forum and get FB for nowt , just my luck got sumat for nowt and didnt know I had got it ,

I certainly remember Mands (and the rest of the crew). I'm not a Facebooker, so missed out in the FS transition from BBS to Facebook group. It was sad to lose all those wonderful chats and connections with motorcycles, but never was an FB fan...

Good luck to her. I'll have to admit a bit of surprise at her jumping in as a sidecar passenger. Wonder who she'll be partnering with?

No idea but if I find out, I’ll let you know.
