Re: Ferrari Wing-Ding
Jaysus! I keep forgetting how much money there is in the world. I've often planned my life around winning the big loto because I'm too lazy to work for that kind of money. As I age (not too gracefully) though, my taste buds have dulled considerably. Don't think I'd have a car parked in with these guys. Just don't see the point anymore. Might have something to do with ease of access, I suppose... Fun to look at though and complain...

Yeah, we were able to get in among the cars in the garage the first day. It became too much after awhile, and they put up ropes to keep the punters out of the F1 area by the end of the day. Still, amazing access.
The logistics of it all was staggering. There was a big wagon with a rack full of starters on it. Each one was marked for a different year F1 car. Every part is unique every year, and to carry that half-way around the world... I can't imagine.
Seems more complex than a season of F1 for the team!
The money is pretty mind boggling. As a lottery winner, you probably still couldn't afford running a few-year-old F1 car...
