Now this looks interesting-but will it float or sink like sea link?may be good for fare prices but as the racket constantly moans its a loss leading service and even mezenon couldn't keep its planned system of ferry/freight going last yr so it has been tried before

Seems awfully speculative, almost like a F.S. operation!

To me it is a no no there is not enough trade to support one ferry company so how on earth is it going to support two 3 crossings a week carrying freight on such a short run for 46 weeks a year and 6 weeks a year running bikes is not a viable business portfolio for any investor to invest in

Am thinking of 2 high profile attempts in the not too distant past of companies setting up a rival only to fall foul and sink...sea link and mezenon OK mezenon are still going but limiting themselves to freight now but both lost heavily...it would be good to see a bit more of the plan and how much is going to be invested to see if its likely to go ahead or just be thought of as a pipe dream...
