Hi Timbs nice to see you made it , do you still have contact with any of the old crew from that side of the pond , if I remember right there were one or two down in the US , going out now to brave the snow and take the little bike for its MOT we have a very light covering and still coming down slowly nothing like the stuff you get Timbs catch you later

Hey there Timmy in Canukistan! I think I still have all the emails from the old crew. I'll forward on what I've got!
I see you've got the same 'interesting' weather we've been having.
How're 'tings??

Re: First Canadian ??
Greetings Everyone
OK The weather is still crap here in Saskatchewan.
I bought a brand new 2013 DR650 wont be ready from the dealer till May 3rd.
I have bought a whole bunch of "farkles" for it already.
Did I mention the crap weather??
I'm meeting up with Eddy and Anne and Baxter for the BSB round at Oulton park in August then hopping over to the Ulster GP and back over to Scarborough for the Gold Cup. Eddy sent out the invitation. A shout out to Eddy Anne and Baxter.
Did I mention the crap weather??
I have been over to the Isle of man for TT 2010 2011 and 2012
Did marshaling at TT 2011 2012.
I'll send out some emails cause I still keep in touch with Phil and Karen in California and I told Pete in Florida about the site already.
And Ill tell Chris and Jewel as well if Pete has not yet done so.
Did I mention the crap weather??
Now about me.
I have to talk about this. Did a 2 year bout of depression and I was starting to listen to the voices in my head telling me to go jump off a bridge. I went to emergency dept at Hospital and have been seeing a mental health counselor for the last 7 months now. I'm feeling a whole lot better.
Did I mention the crap weather??
Depression is not fun.!!
But this is a fun site right??
So enough about me.
Did I mention the crap weather??
Cheers

Crap weather-ha you sent it over to us!have a look at some of the Manx news sites and you'll see what am on about!
Jumping off a bridge is only clever if you're attached to a twangy bit of knicker elastic!

Re: First Canadian ??
Believe me
Our crap weather is much worse than your crap weather I hope that is something to brag about LOL
Ya Ralph is my counselor.
Its amazing how things that happened in Childhood can affect a person after 50 years
I must admit to being really lost for a couple years. I fought it by smiling at the world but it just kept getting harder and harder to function each day.
I'm still in counseling but I'm a whole lot better and am learning about tools to help me deal with the sh*t when it comes up. Its called life!! LOL
Cheers

Re: First Canadian ??
Thanks for pointing me here Timmy! Glad you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel again (hopefully not an on-coming train!). Of course, winter-time is the best time in Florida, so I will spare you and not go into that.
Missed Daytona bike week for the first time in memory, as I had to take a business trip during that week. So, I'm feeling a little motorcycle activity deprived. Nice for a new F.S. to pop-up at just the right time.
Good luck with the new bike!
