Sounds like a plan then-11am at the grandstand-pit lane exit and take it from there!

Re: TT rideout 2013
So I watched the web cams all day... Other than the time out for Monaco, and a cooking show, and a bit outside between the rain drops.. beautiful day on the Isle! Clear skies, people wearing sweaters instead of parkas, no waves in the harbor... Didn't see anybody I recognized though... Who's 'Twig'? They spelt their name out in pebbles in the grass at the bungalow-4...
Oh wait... It's not even a practice day, is it?? D'Oh!

Well, I was there in spirit at least... Two bacon/cheese burgers from the Golden Arches Supper Club (McD's) and a Barq's Root Beer sitting in the car on the waterfront at the yacht club...

Glad you lot had a nice ride and good weather for it! Wow, the course was that bad, accident-wise? Sorry to hear that. Was the "one-way for the fortnight" clause still in effect?
As always, wish I could be there. I'm hoping I get some job stability soon, so maybe I can plan another trip.

Re: TT rideout 2013
It wasn't as bad as normal re accidents-but there were peaks and troughs-fri practice as busy-mad Sunday was very quiet...probably cos it was racing (and it has lead for some to speculate that mad Sunday racing could occur more often-especially with the possible side effect of less accidents...
Here's a link to police press conference re the fortnight- http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-22843737
15% drop in accidents ain't to be sneezed at-no spec ie rider fatal all fortnight-last happened 2006!and only poor yoshi to lose his life in the actual racing...hmmm accident free-no as can be seen on the Friday senior-accidents will happen...
But the ride out was fun!lying in bed writing this and got smile on face remembering it-the mark of a good ride out!and yes fella get yoursen back over here asap for the next!

Re: TT rideout 2013
There is only one thing wrong about the Sunday Racing for me GT it's that the marshals are out three days on the trot making it more like work as much as I love the job , but the reduction in accidents is one way to look at it , but accidents don't all ways follow a set rule mores the pity ! or we could factor out far more than we do ,

Note to GTN.........My Manx sim card is now in the posession of Big Frank, DSM at Ginger Hall, as it didn't work in my 'phone. I'll PM my proper number.
I'm thinking this new format for the "Classic TT" will mean extra duties!
