Re: Sad end to NW 200
I've done the NW 200 but never the Ulster GP. I know that the Ulster can also be very wet so let's hope that the TT, Ulster GP and MGP do not suffer the same fate.
It took me a long time to get around to cleaning all the mud off the old GL1000 after last year's MGP and the quagmire on the Glenlough Campsite.

Yes, I was up early and tuned in via puter to watch the N.W.200 , and pretty much all I saw was the rain. I did see the two lap Supersport that was won by Michael Dunlop. Really such a dqmn shame AGAIN. They need to have an option of extra road closings on Sunday too.

Re: Sad end to NW 200
TT and NW always seem to share the same weather...think I need to find my Wellies and water proofs asap!were a shame the racing didn't go ahead but good call to cancel it...not to namby pa by the top riders who its been accused won't go out if there's a cloud in the sky (which ain't true) but for the fact that we all know facings dangerous and to throw variable inclement wet weather into the mix and expect racing is just too much of a gamble

Timmy should be chiming in pretty soon. I'm not sure he's ever recovered from flying all the way from Saskatchewan a few years ago only to have it rained out. Small compensation to have a few days to try out all the bars within 100 miles...

Re: Sad end to NW 200
I remember that well.
I went over in 2008 just for the Ulster GP and not a wheel turned the whole 10 days I was there. It did nothing but pour rain!!!!
I'm going to try it again in August this year. That's why i'm not at the TT this year.
Going over for BSB at Oulton park then over for the Ulster then back over for BSB at Cadwell.
I am approved already to work as a flagman for the Oulton park and the Ulster GP
