I'm in hurry up and wait mode.
I was to Medicine Hat on Thursday past for an ultra sound on my shoulder.
The radiologist Dr. looked at me rolled his eyes and said
"This is a mess"
I have a torn ligament with fluid built up around the tear.
I see Dr. Martin the ortho surgeon at Medicine Hat Hospital on Monday.
He will tell me where and when I will get surgery.
So, I'm filling my days with walking the dog. pestering the stupid cat. surfing web sites.
And I thought screw it!!
So, ive been out riding my DR650.
I grit my teeth and out I go.
What more damage can I do? LOL
Cheers

Yeah, yeah... Bragging about going to the IOM for motorcycle racing is too easy...

Kind of like Bill Gates saying "...but that isn't a problem for me... because I'm FILTHY RICH!"

Very Happy

Ah yes, retirement! I have the "Freedom 85" plan. Work 'til I'm 85, then die!
On the plus side, I have 6 days off in a row week after next. Must see if there is any tread left on the rear tire...

...and Timmy! Clutch side or brake? (Say hi to the cat)

Hmmm... Either you are riding older bikes than I thought J.P., or your bike riding technique is "interesting".

I *might* be able to reach the clutch with my foot, but it would certainly be tough while trying to break for a corner!

I know what you mean about the "Freedom 85" plan. If I can even manage to stayed employed that long! Regardless of the economy, increased health care costs have meant that older employees have to go, and that particular under-the-table discrimination seems to be fine.

Tech industries are whining over here about needing more foreign visas to make up for the skilled tech worker shortage, but fail to mention that they nearly never consider anybody over 35!
