Re: Garage Work and Hurricane
Well, the "old" side is pretty much empty now. Here are some pics. They are from last weekend when the "old" side still had some stuff in it, but all empty now.
The "new" side is packed with junk right now, but that will get re-organized once the "old" side is finished up. Just a little insulation and electrical, and some wall finishing.
Result of lots of moving from the "old" side.
The wall on the right with the door the pegboard will be going, opening up the space to the single-car bay on the other side which is already complete.
Bikes settling into their new home.
A bit of a debris field at the moment...
Even have stuff crammed onto the "bikeport"...

JumpeenJimmeny! It looks like a dealer's showroom! Better, actually. I'm not used to all them lights! Too bright! Can't SEE!!!

I've hunted around for enough small parts that I opted for overkill lighting. It doesn't get any easier to find that bold on the floor as I get older either.
Crazy thing is that these lights probably use less electricity than what I had before...

Proper reflective light makes a huge difference. I just added white reflectors on my old fluorescent bulbs and that brightened everything up a lot. Then I put the chrome ceiling in and the reflections off that made it better again. Now I'm saving up for the proper LED 'daylight' bulbs. I'll never go out in the sun again!

Well, I have to report that I’ve seen the garage & it’s as amazing in real life as it is on the photos. Really impressive ...

Well, it was a hastily put together affair, so not a lot of opportunity for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
Maybe on their way back to the airport...

just make sure it is clean under the table if drinking with that Kate Smile's as that is where most men end up when drinking with that one hence why the Lovely man drinks shorts out of a small galls and she has a bucket when not drinking from the barrel , you have been warned ,

Re: Garage Work and Hurricane
There was no drinking, just a lot of chatting (it’s the first time Smilo’s had the pleasure of meeting the Lovely Man, don’t suppose he realised he’d hardly be able to get in a word edgeways). We’re currently in the Fort Myers area, off up to Sarasota tomorrow. Hoping to get back to Titusville before we fly home on 15th March, with the aim of having a day at Daytona during Bike Week & we both want a return visit to the Space Center to finish the holiday on a high.

Latest SpaceX launch has been delayed... Maybe a launch will work out as well.
Here's the official Bike Week site. There is a "calendar", but if you hit it one day or another in there, there is sure to be craziness...
