We sold gave away our 2006 Dodge grand Caravan with nothing wrong with it and bought a new (to us) Kia... Jury is still out on how wise a move this has been. So far it is not any better other than being newer. As you can see, we'll be trying out it's winter capabilities very soon!
Couldn't get anywhere near the value for the Dodge. Just no market for some reason. Lots of used ones around, I guess. Neither one would make a good camper tho'!
One of the other Kia's in the family is a real trooper though. If only I had bought it with the 'plow' option...

Wow! That's a nice one. Even original tires! Those were abused so much, while they are numerous, a mint original is an extreme rarity. Even when I went to the traveling "Art of the Motorcycle" exhibit, the '86 they had in the exhibit was not very original.
I think it was worth the money it sold for...
As to what I have, mine is an '86 750. But the "collector" value is that it is one of a couple of hundred "limited editions" Suzuki produced for homologation.
Solo seat, 1100 front forks, remote reservoir shock, solo seat, extra aluminum "jewelry" and most importantly, a magnesium Yosh dry clutch system.
I am the original owner and it's had "period" modifications over the years, but I have all the original parts.

Jeezoos! That IS something special. eh? I think I remember calling it a 'sporty' bike or something when I hadn't looked too closely! It's nice seeing the original owners hanging on to the good stuff. I remember when it came time to trade my beloved CX650E and the dealer had a 900RR on a pedestal in the showroom. I think it was one of 3 in Canada or something... I thought "Naw... Nobody will want a thing that crazy". "I'd never be able to re-sell it!".
I suppose I would have sold it anyways to finance the farm or something (Goats are expensive, you know?), but I've always wondered...
