House cleaning!
Hey! Somebody did a tidy-up! Thank you Mr. Admin! It was getting messy.
Now to drag some more participation from the old guys! Or maybe even hunt down some new bikers members. I'm off on a recruitment drive!

Ye Snapchat and Twiter , and to me the Forums were and are better in that you can see what people have said without it dissapearing in to cookoo land and being pestered by people wanting to hijack your account to cause trouble

Re: House cleaning!
What Eddy just said ... I use FB a lot, it has its uses but there are too many idiots on it, it’s impossible to search and you can’t have a conversation or follow a thread. The family have started to use ‘Whats App’ (or as the Lovely Man calls it, ‘What’s Up’). Twitter’s ok, less rubbish in it than on FB.

Re: House cleaning!
Oh and a bit of slightly old news: after 16 years together, the Lovely Man & I eloped to Las Vegas in October 2015. It wasn’t the most romantic of proposals, he said, “I suppose we could always get married as we’ll be passing through LV”. To which I replied (being equally romantic), “yeah, ok then”.
We chose Oct 21st as the date as he married his first wife on the same date. We thought it was hilarious, she didn’t found it quite as amusing when she found out. Mind you, it nearly didn’t happen as our intended witness couldn’t get time off work at the last minute. Fortunately, one of my Internet buddies flew in from her home in Salt Lake City for the day. We ended up having a pretty good day, I even wore a frock for the occasion, having being told by my husband that I wasn’t to wear my usual jeans.

I still find it amusing that on the wedding day you took notice of the obay vow but never before or since , much like some other women I know

Re: House cleaning!
TeeHee! Katie, youz guys are as romantic as us! We just 'celebrated' 40 years of wedded bliss by doing... unhh... well, nothing. Not even a card. Later, something will come up and we'll both say "Oh, I meant that as an anniversary/birthday/Christmas gift"...
Our 'courting' period was all of 21 days long and consisted of two road trips in her van. Then she said "This long distance relationship sucks" (we lived only 500 miles apart). So I said "I suppose we could live together" and she said "we should probably get married to make it official" and I said "what-ever"... and that was 40 years ago!
