Awsome shot! Hmmm... That looks a little less Tornado-ish and a bit more F-15-ish...

I might have to get some info from you on this next time I'm planning to head over that way. I definitely want to see this.
Does somebody publish an informal schedule of when they will be training?

Re: The things you see sitting on Welsh mountain side
there is a site that tells you what days they MAY be flying published twice a month but not saying what will be flying or what times so potluck , I went up on the tuesday and missed them and was only 4 Tornado's at 4.00pm as I had got cold and gone back to the Bugilow , but went back up on the Thursday and dropped for a belter , according to some of the regulars the best show they had seen in 3 years , you will know more about them than me but they were saying that they were the top boys in the F15's the single seat cockpit ones that are nick named the Grim Reapers and boy what a show , with the moisture in the air giving the vapor trails off the wing tips and over the aircraft bodies made it all the more dramatic , I am not in to Aircraft as such and only went up after seeing some pictures on the web by accident and thinking that looks good wouldn't mind having a go at that , wow how lucky can you get ??

Re: The things you see sitting on Welsh mountain side
Those are some pretty amazing shots!
We have a local airshow and the building I used to work in is one of the tallest things around and is right between the river and the runway, so the various pilots were using it as a sighting landmark for some of their runs over the airport.
During practice day, a few were coming by at eye level from the office I was sitting in. Neat stuff!
Hope you are having a good time out there!

we are back home now listening to Vauxhall Radio TT , wishing we were there one minute then glad I am not the next , we are losing far too many riders to our sport , I love and hate our sport in what is becoming equal amounts

North Wales until three years ago was somewhere we had never been and the first time was to a coastal area that was nice enough , but then this year the Boss decided she wanted to go back and try a different area and we loved it we had a great time
the locals were friendly
and a good time was had by all

Then she decided we would go for another week we went to Darley Moor for a Historic and Classic race meeting on the way
, and that was as good as hoped for with a twist
, then over in to Wales to lovely campsite in a nice area
not far from the Mach Loop an area where they train for the low flying and that was awesome did I mention it
